Concealed Weapons Policy

What is a Concealed Weapons Policy?

A concealed weapons policy, or firearms policy, is a set of guidelines created by an organization to regulate the carrying of concealed weapons on its premises. It details the situations in which individuals are allowed to bring concealed firearms or weapons to the workplace, typically covering businesses, government buildings, schools, and other public spaces. The policy outlines the types of prohibited weapons and the penalties for violating these rules. However, it may grant exceptions for those with proper licenses or permits to carry firearms. The primary goal of this policy is to reduce the chances of workplace violence, accidents, or injuries caused by the presence or misuse of weapons.
