We are looking for a detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to manage our workforce planning and scheduling needs. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling employees to meet business demands. You will collaborate with HR teams and department managers to ensure efficient staffing levels while maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Staffing Coordinator Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process to ensure appropriate staffing levels.

  • Develop and maintain employee schedules to meet business needs while minimizing staffing shortages or overages.

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify workforce requirements and adjust staffing plans accordingly.

  • Monitor employee availability, attendance, and shift coverage to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Maintain accurate records of employee work hours, leaves, and schedule changes.

  • Assist in resolving staffing conflicts, last-minute schedule changes, and employee concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations regarding scheduling and staffing.

  • Maintain a database of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.

  • Support HR in performance evaluations and workforce planning strategies.

  • Provide reports on staffing trends, vacancies, and scheduling effectiveness to management.

Skills and Requirements:

  • B.sc/ BA in Human resources, business administration, or a similar field.

  • Prior experience as a staffing coordinator or a similar role.

  • Should know legal regulations, i.e., visa procedures, equal employment opportunity, etc.

  • Should have some experience in planning and execution of HR activities like hiring and onboarding.

  • It is recommended that a staffing coordinator know staffing procedures, policies, and best practices.

  • The candidate should have leadership and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills combined with interpersonal skills are a necessity.

  • Should be a trustworthy person to handle confidential information.

  • A certification in ASA credentials or similar certifications will be preferred.
