Contract Recruiter Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements and create effective job descriptions for contract positions.
Sourcing Candidates: Use a variety of platforms (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to identify and attract top talent for contract roles.
Screening and Interviewing: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Managing the Recruitment Process: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for contract positions, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and effectively.
Job Offers and Negotiation: Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate contract terms, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
Building and Maintaining a Talent Pool: Create and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for future contract needs.
Compliance: Ensure recruitment practices comply with all legal requirements and company policies.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to hiring managers and leadership on recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, and staffing needs.

Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of recruiting and sourcing strategies
Comfortable using technology and tools such as applicant tracking systems, databases, and social media to manage the recruiting process
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
