Behavioral Interview

What is Behavioural Interview?

A Behavioral Interview is a method used to evaluate a candidate's past actions and experiences to determine their suitability for a specific job role. It focuses on understanding how the candidate handled various work-related situations in the past, which serves as an indicator of future behavior.

In this approach, interviewers ask situational or experience-based questions to assess the candidate’s skills, attitudes, and traits relevant to the job. Role-playing scenarios or written tests may also be included to provide deeper insights.

Unlike traditional interviews that revolve around generic job-related questions, behavioral interviews provide a clearer understanding of a candidate's mindset and problem-solving abilities, making it an effective tool for hiring the right fit for a role.
